Visual Merchandising
a story + a product + a creative way for the client to interact
I believe those are the only base ingredients needed to be a good visual merchandiser. The passion, innovation, and unwavering will to see the project through; no matter the organic changes and the inevitable obstacles is what makes you GREAT.
Below, are a few memorable snapshots of my journey. You will find retail window, in-store, showroom, and international trade show presentations to list a few.
What was asked of me?
To maintain and implement high visual standards across the many brands who chose me to join them on their journey. I had to ensure an on-brand and consistent client journey throughout the domestic and International wholesale and retail networks, while being held responsible for the the creative efforts and initiatives set forth by the marketing, communications, and PR departments.
What I worked on?
I oversaw and supported a multitude of creatively branded initiates, executed through in-store merchandising, product launches, branded and co-branded events, special animations, and store openings.
I developed seasonal directives for in-store visual implementation, along with other tools and roadmaps to ensure a best-in-class delivery of cohesive and strong VM standards.
I had the opportunity to design and create custom fixtures, display material, and visual tools with the help of skilled designers and reputable production workshops.
Who did I work with?
I had the opportunity to collaborate and work with talented regional visual freelancers; witness magic through an array of vendors and industry experts throughout the architectural, floral, graphical, design, and highly skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen.
